About

Stilettos and Green Juice is about bringing wellness into your every day life with advice that is tried, tested and lived! We live in a world that is super busy and full of excuses as to why we can’t be healthy or happy! Stilettos and Green Juice combines our sexy, busy lives with old fashion nutrition and fitness tips with a bit of modern day spirituality thrown in. Blend good nutritious food, a healthy active lifestyle with a touch of motivation and spiritual belief (whatever that may be) you get a happy healthy you!

My name is Lyn and I am passionate about health, fitness and going after everything I desire. I live with an “I am” attitude which means I live in a state of believing that the things I desire already exist. I am love, I am perfect health, I am abundance, I am succesful and I am best selling author – you get the picture

I use to have a life that I  called “Balanced” meaning I would eat my salads and superfoods and then follow with a coke, chocolate and then later a cake. My Saturday gym sessions were almost always followed with McDonalds!

I spent my teens and 20’s plagued with various health problems from CFS/ME, Fibromyalgia, Stomach Ulcers, Helicobacter, IBS, Migraines, Anxiety and Depression (well who wouldn’t be depressed when they are sick all the time!) and despite all I knew about nutrition I was a total sugar addict and “skinny fat”.

The only thing that started my commitment to healthy eating and cutting the crap was vanity – there I said it – I entered my 30’s and realised that I couldn’t eat like this anymore. I had way to much fat around my stomach for someone my size, was tired all the time and feeling like crap. I read that you could reverse the signs of aging by getting rid of sugar and eating a plant-based diet so I was determined to be healthier and fitter in my 30’s than ever before – and I am! I slowly made the changes, educating myself along the way and listening to people who were further long in the journey than me. Now I eat mostly sugar-free, eat a tonne of greens, drink green smoothies each day and have cut down on red meat and other animal protein’s. As a result I feel amazing!

By day I work in the world of marketing/media but when I clock off I live to be fit, be active and help others be the same.

My biggest desire is to be part of the new generation of self-development/health/motivational guru’s, who are teaching old school teachings in a fresh new way.

I want to educate and empower.

I want to have fun every day!

I love my family, my friends, volunteering, travel, the beach, dancing, gym, dogs, watermelon and I am petrified of frogs!

There that is me in a nutshell!

Please emal me personally at lynnie79au@yahoo.com.au if you would like any health guidance or would like to contribute. I would love you to send me your stories, tips or recipes!

      Hi Angie,
I don’t have a step by step pic but if you go to the fitness tab and scroll down there is a printable ab workout from Blogilates.
I am also about to do a whole lot of pics of different exercises so I should have printable step by step guides, very soon!

Great blog , resource for diet /fitness , found your blog via BR, read about the sugar thing, I’m trying to cut it way down , but yer it’s in a lot of things, I do eat some what clean , always fresh meat / fish and fruit , but still struggle to loose weight , train between 3 -5 days a week, anyway thanks for your ideas , Greg

    • Lyn November 24, 2012 at 9:42 pm #

Thanks Greg. Yes it’s in a lot of things but you can do it. If you cut out the obsvious and the processed foods it becomes easy after a few weeks. Some people also find success in giving up wheat, or at least the white processed kind. If you are struggling to lose weight I’d try that!
